Resilience from a football play

During last night's Orange Bowl, Notre Dame's Jeremiyah Love gave us all a lesson in resilience.
With a knee brace on and defenders trying to tackle him more than once, he refused to quit. He pivoted, pushed forward, and stretched with everything he had to get the ball over the line. It was one of the most ambitious, focused, and determined touchdowns Iโve seen in a long time. (video in the comments)
Leaders, doesnโt this feel familiar?
Adversity comes at us from every sideโtough setbacks, relentless challenges, the weight of expectations. All at once! Itโs natural to feel overwhelmed. It is reasonable to succumb to the first or second challenge because enduring is exhausting.
But like Love on that play, youโve got more strength than you realize.
When the odds seem stacked against you, remember: persistence wins. Believe in your preparation, lean into your endurance, and trust yourself to be strong through all the odds, great or small.
Challenges do not define us. How we respond does.
Many people say, "Challenges build character." I have said for years that challenges ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ท๐ฆ๐ข๐ญ character.
Stay in the fightโyouโre closer to the goal than you think.
