Her career includes leading on three executive teams, most recently serving as the Chief Talent Officer/Director for a global scientific technical company. She has worked across operations, marketing, strategic planning, and Human Resources. Kelly has been honored to coach and/or consult with leading companies including VML, Honeywell, Bayer Animal Health, Kansas University Medical Center, Chrysler, Schlage, Smith Barney, and Bank of America, among others.

A sought-after leadership expert, Kelly is also an adjunct MBA/EMBA professor, Executive MBA coach, writer on Forbes.com, bestselling author, and award-winning national speaker. She is married to Bob, a veteran of the United States Air Force and retired firefighter. They live in Kansas City and enjoy visiting their daughter and her family in Montana every chance they get. Her volunteer work centers on their parish, children, women, education, and dogs.

Wade Freeman

ABOUT WADE FREEMAN
Facilitator

Wade serves as President of High Plains Alliance, providing Human Resources and leadership development to growing nonprofit organizations and companies.

During his career, Wade has worked with information technology and Human Resources leadership teams, contributing to transformations in their methods and results.  He has led a community organization with more than 140 employees and grown its revenues to $6.4 million.  Wade has facilitated succession planning, organized leadership development and recruited talented individuals to fill leadership positions.  Wade guided the renovation of 216 affordable housing units.  His activities have improved organizational effectiveness in the United States, Mexico, India and Thailand.

Wade has led projects including the implementation of a global people strategy as part of an information technology Human Resources team, the introduction of leadership development for software and business process outsourcing directors, the expansion of management skills for railroad supervisors, the implementation of performance management programs, the renovation of a railroad technical training center, the deployment of a learning management system supporting more than 13,000 employees and the improvement of international talent acquisition operations.

Wade holds an MBA, with a concentration in Finance, from UMKC and a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.  He is a Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).

Wade is a committed volunteer with educational and emergency assistance groups and an active Rotarian.  He currently lives in Kansas City with his wife, where they raised three children.  The Freemans balance dedicated work with sailing a well-used boat at Lake Perry, Kansas.
