The best way to achieve career success is to manage one’s career with purpose and intention. The least effective route to career success is to leave one’s career in the hands of other people or to spontaneously assess random opportunities that come along.
The purpose of this framework is to enable users to position themselves for opportunities that would help them achieve the success that matters most to them.
There is no “one size fits all” approach to career management because everyone has different values and goals. This framework helps users identify what matters most to them. It also helps users identify how to achieve what matters most, with regard to career success.

“What do you do?”
Here’s the Simon Sinek video about introductions. He encourages people to state the WHY of our work before the WHAT or WHO.
”I’m an interior designer for GastingerWalker&. We do architecture and design for all kinds of companies.”
That is okay and is the most common introduction pattern used at networking functions.
“I stimulate innovation and collaboration for growing companies across the US as an interior designer with GastingerWalker&.”
See the difference? The second one is a little different and will stand out without being sales-y.
Usually, people say WHY last, but it’s the part that often gets the strongest response. You can entice people to continue the conversation with WHY, which is the goal upon an introduction.
