AIR REGISTRATION

Welcome!
Thanks for registering for the upcoming AI Roundtable (AIR)!

Each interactive one-hour virtual session is designed for business leaders, entrepreneurs, and tech-savvy professionals interested in staying ahead of AI advancements. Participants engage in breakout discussions, knowledge-sharing, and networking with like-minded individuals passionate (and curious!) about AI’s impact on modern business.

The information below is provided to ensure everyone who joins knows what to expect, is comfortable, and can participate in the best way for them.

Everyone is welcome from AI novices to AI experts…from Kansas City to New York to Seattle…from all industries, roles, and experience levels.

We are glad you’re here!

What to Expect During the AI Roundtable:

  • AI Roundtables are not recorded or transcribed by the hosts or moderators. You can feel free to ask questions and share within the confines of the group, which ranges from 15 to 35 people.

  • Cameras are encouraged. (It’s okay if you’re eating lunch. We eat lunch in meetings all the time, right?)

  • Microphones will be muted when you enter. Please unmute when you’re ready to speak.

  • Engage in the Chat!

    • Please use the chat to ask questions, share, and comment. It will be monitored by the host and moderators in case you have questions.

    • Share your LinkedIn profile link in the chat if you’d like to connect with other AI enthusiasts.

    • You can save the chat. It The will be sent to everyone who joins the session—not to all registrants but to those who join.

  • Please use the “raise hand” emoji when you want to chime in during the open forum. Please understand that time might prevent everyone from sharing in the open forum though.

  • Check your tech in advance:

    • Is your internet connection working? Is your software going to do an automatic update?

    • Check your microphone, lighting, and Zoom settings to be sure you are most comfortable.

  • Be ready for breakout groups. AI Roundtables are where everyone engages v. a webinar where people watch/listen. You are welcome to engage as much or as little as you’d like.

  • Be comfortable and be yourself. There’s no expectation of AI expertise here. All are welcome here.

AI Roundtable Host and Moderators

Voyage Consulting Group’s Kelly Byrnes, creator of the AI Roundtable, serves as the host. She is joined by Kristina Sorrelli and Alex Colley as the moderators. All three were founding members of the Steering Committee of the Kansas City AI Club when it launched in 2023 and have planned and attended many AI events, so they know what's going on with with AI. Please let them know if you need anything during the meetings.

Click their photos to go to their LinkedIn profiles for more about each person. Connect with them there too!

Basic flow of the AI Roundtable gatherings…

  1. We are all together in the full Zoom room. You’re welcome to unmute and join the conversation

    • Use chat to engage right away: Where are you joining from? Are you new to the AI Roundtables? Have any questions for the group?

    • Opening by Kelly gives time to talk together about the topic of the day (for about 5-10 minutes)

  2. Breakout 1: Introductions (for about 5 minutes)

    • Breakout rooms with 3-5 other randomly selected people will open for quick introductions

  3. Breakout 2: Topic 1 something about AI (for about 10-15 minutes)

    • Usually, the same breakout groups are used as the Introduction ones. Sometimes they are made bigger to enhance the conversations.

    • Return to Main Room— invitation share in chat

  4. Breakout 3: Topic 2 going deeper into the AI topic (for about 10-15 minutes)

    • If there is a third breakout, it’s usually the same group as the second breakout.

    • Return to Main Room— invitation share in chat or with the whole group

  5. Close to share your thoughts and take-aways and talk about the next meeting (for about 5-10 minutes)
