We help companies who really want to live the priorities of the triple bottom line (TBL): purpose, people, and profit. It’s possible! Research even says all stakeholders benefit when the TBL is lived—even investors! We’re obsessed with conscious capitalism and love working with leaders who are too. We can help you bring your purpose and vision to life!
With TBL in mind, Voyage Consulting Group was founded in 2016 to make high-end consulting resources based on the Coasts accessible to small and mid-sized companies in the Midwest. Our founder, Kelly Tyler Byrnes, had worked with some of the big firms as a client throughout her career, and she saw the waste and disruption those firms caused without regard to people. She knew there had to be another way to bring valuable resources to companies eager for results and keen on caring for people.
She’s right. Voyage Consulting Group is the other way.
Kelly and our team of executive-level consultants help leaders plan their journeys and steer their ships, so they reach their destinations. We help leaders navigate the waters so growth of their company and people is not just possible but inevitable.
Our name comes from an article written by Clayton Christensen in Harvard Business Review in 2010. In the article How Will You Measure Your Life?, Dr. Christensen wrote the following:
I apply my knowledge of the purpose of my life every day. It’s the single most useful thing I’ve ever learned. I promise my students that if they take the time to figure out their life purpose, they’ll look back on it as the most important thing they discovered at HBS. If they don’t figure it out, they will just sail off without a rudder and get buffeted in the very rough seas of life. Clarity about their purpose will trump knowledge of activity-based costing, balanced scorecards, core competence, disruptive innovation, the four Ps, and the five forces.
Voyage Consulting Group exists so company leaders don’t sail off without a rudder, get buffeted in life’s rough seas, and ruin life’s journey. We help leaders live their purpose, navigate rough seas, and make their life’s journey magnificent.
